| | In the English translation, I don't think that line 299 is translated correctly. "te solum, Phoebe" ought to be the object of "relinquens" along with his sister ("unigenam"). It doesn't make sense in the current translation that Zeus "came through the sky to you alone, Apollo", when Apollo rejected the marriage along with Artemis. More correctly, it is "came through the sky, leaving you lonely, Phoebus, and leaving your twin". | |
