The first line of the last stanza in Catullus' 11 should be translated roughly as 'no longer look back for my love as before'. As it stands now, respectet is translated as 'respect' instead of to look back (the etymology combines re + specto, spectare, meaning literally 'to look back'). Respectet in this context is not a perfect cognate as it is now translated.
