Hello,
I am following a lead someone provided to a question I posted on the Usenet: http://groups.google.com/group/alt.language.latin/msg/9af4ac2495f5eb67?hl=en.
Could anyone tell me whether Catullus uses the word 'pecus' as a referent (not a comparison) or symbol for humans, and if so where?
Thanks for any help!
