It can't be "you alone knew me" because "solum" can't modify "te" since the "te" in question is Lesbia - a woman. Therefore it would have to be "solam" to be correct.

Here's how I would translate it: "You used to say that you knew only Catullus..."

Yes, solum must modify Catullum, so to to be translated "you used to say that you knew Catullus alone"; a fairly important point.
